Amanda is a postgraduate art therapy fellow who is currently working with students in Chicago Public Schools, and seeing clients at ITA’s offices. She has experience working both individually and with groups in schools, day programs, and assisted living environments. Amanda uses a client-centered and holistic approach to counseling that combines patience, empathy, inclusion, and humor. She hopes to use this approach to help her clients express themselves, navigate stressors, and reach their goals– all while creating some art along the way.
Amanda graduated from Mount Mary University with her Master’s of Science in Art Therapy. Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys photography, learning new recipes, seeing friends and family, making playlists, and working on her Animal Crossing island.
Amanda is currently accepting new clients.
