Amber Przybyla is an Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Masters of Arts in Counseling: Art Therapy at Adler University. Amber completed her clinical internship at the Institute for Therapy Through the Arts. During her internship, she gained experience working with dementia, addiction disorders, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, neurodevelopmental disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders. Prior to joining ITA, Amber worked remotely at the Art Station in Fort Worth, TX. In Texas, Amber worked primarily with adolescents and teens who experienced anxiety, depression, difficulties adjusting to significant life changes, had barriers to learning in school, and histories of trauma. Her work integrates art-making with cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapy.
