The Staff and Board of Directors of Institute for Therapy through the Arts (ITA) are angered by the horrific acts of violence and racism against Asian individuals. ITA is committed to using our voice to speak out against White supremacy and White supremacist beliefs that continue to perpetuate hatred and discrimination. We urge you to join us in spreading the message that anti-Asian racism is unacceptable, and we will not stand by and witness such brutal harm. Please take action to keep our Asian community safe.
Below you can find a list of non-exhaustive resources including support for AAPI community members, places to donate and/or volunteer, bystander intervention trainings, and education resources.
We will continue to advocate for equality and justice, and the health and safety of all individuals. If you or someone you know has experienced harm or increased fear and anxiety around your safety, please reach out at 847-213-0756 for support.
