Neurologic Music Therapist
Brooke Sawyer began her music therapy career working in schools and is happy to have joined ITA’s CPS creative arts therapies team. She has provided music therapy services in over 60 classrooms over the past five years. She primarily works in schools with neurodiverse children and adolescents ages 5-15. Brooke uses a humanistic approach to center the autonomy and self-expression of her clients in each session.
In her free time, Brooke volunteers as a research assistant in the Brainvolts Auditory Neuroscience Lab at Northwestern University. She also enjoys watching baseball with her husband, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog Zeus.
