Join the largest creative arts therapy nonprofit in the country and be a part of a growing organization paving the way for the future of art, dance/movement, drama and music therapies. Our team of 15 clinicians are passionate about providing the highest standards of care through innovate and evidence-based approaches while developing new cutting-edge programs that cater to the diverse needs of the broad population of individuals we serve.
ITA emphasizes the importance of ongoing professional development and provides support to our creative arts therapists through individual supervision, group consultation and regular trainings.
We also value our therapists’ personal health and well-being and have established a workplace culture centered around equity, inclusion, transparency and psychological safety. Each employee is encouraged to establish goals on an annual basis for their personal and professional growth in collaboration with their supervisor who will help to establish plans for achieving these goals.
ITA therapists are all hired as W2 employees, because we believe you add value to our organization by becoming part of our team. Therefore, clinicians can take advantage of employee benefits such as paid employment taxes, worker’s compensation and liability insurance. You are provided with all of the supplies you need to work with clients and are reimbursed for mileage and parking expenses when required to travel between different sites. Our employees also have the option to purchase supplemental insurance policies at a discount through Aflac.
We understand that flexibility and autonomy are important aspects to leading a healthy and balanced lifestyle. You have the freedom to schedule clients at our clinic locations at days and times that are convenient for you, and all employees have access to our cloud-based systems from the comfort of their own home, making it easy to complete clinical documentation and to prepare for therapy sessions when it works in your schedule.
