The Development Director works collaboratively with the Executive Director and Board of Directors’ Outreach Committee to create and implement a strategic development plan for obtaining grants, corporate donors and individual gifts. The position will develop annual fundraising campaigns (mail and digital), ensure a culture of philanthropy is adopted throughout the organization where donor stewardship and cultivation are a top priority. The Development Director will be responsible for making personal calls and visits to donors, coordinating and planning fundraising events, meetings, programs and other elements designed to enhance positive relations with donors.
The Development Director will be tasked with growing contributed income from $70,000 annually to $100,000 through individual giving and fundraising events. This position will also oversee ITA’s grant writer in seeking foundation support of $100,000-$200,000 annually. Contributed revenue currently underwrites approximately 30% of ITA’s total operating budget which is quickly growing toward $1,000,000.

Art Therapist – Evanston, Highland Park, Chicago, and potentially Southwest Suburbs
Join ITA’s talented team of Creative Arts Therapists providing art, dance/movement, drama, and music therapy throughout the greater Chicago area. The art therapist will be responsible for maintaining an individual caseload at ITA’s Evanston and Highland Park offices and travel for assigned community contracts within the Chicagoland area. The art therapist is expected to provide innovative treatment approaches with a diverse group of clients after conducting a thorough assessment and will be required to document clinical outcomes. Opportunities for group and individual supervision will be provided at no cost.
Hours: Part-time, Hours based on availability

Drama Therapist — Downtown Chicago and Evanston

Salary/Hourly Range: $38-$41 (pending experience) per therapy session with mileage reimbursement for driving between sessions
