Play a Different Game
March 31, 2023 (virtual) & June 9 – 10, 2023 (in person, Chicago area)
The work of healthcare professionals often feels like a game in navigating the systems in which we work. At ITA’s 7th annual Integrated Creative Arts Therapy Conference, learn how to play a different game.
The conference will be held in two parts, both virtually and in-person. We are seeking proposals for workshops, lectures, panels, performances, and discussions that empower and equip creative arts therapists to address the evolving healthcare needs affecting our communities.
All proposals must be submitted electronically using this proposal submission form by November 11, 2022.

Webinar: Introduction to Drama Therapy
Presented by Sara Renauer-Reid, MA, R-DT (she/her)
Drama therapy can help people find community through shared creation, practice new behaviors, and express emotions too painful for words. This webinar will focus on the core concepts of drama therapy and introduce widely used models, and well as elements of drama and play that can be incorporated in treatment for non-drama therapists. Examples of drama therapy interventions will be shared. Recorded on March 15, 2022.
