ITA to Be Part of Evanston Public Library’s Very First North Shore Mental Health & Wellness Fair
This fair is a first: the Evanston Public Library will be hosting their 1st Annual North Shore Mental Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 28th, from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. The fair intends to kick off awareness initiatives in the Evanston/Skokie area for National Mental Health Awareness Month in May.
Co-sponsored by Evanston Department of Health & Human Services, Village of Skokie Human Services, In-Home Counseling for Seniors, Metro Family Services, and Chicago Behavioral Health Hospital, this community event will connect residents to resources in our neighborhoods that will help them lead more fulfilling lives through confronting and overcoming mental health challenges.
The North Shore Mental Health & Wellness Fair will be free and open to individuals, family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. An exhibit area of product and service providers, free mental health screenings, door prizes, and refreshments will all be provided. Come out to experience the activities for yourself and your family, and meet ITA staff and interns at our big orange booth. We’re saving some ITA goodies for our visitors!
