Art-making in therapy can facilitate rapport-building and information-gathering for many practitioners. This workshop will focus on the principles of art therapy, the spectrum of art media, and the elements of art-making for the use of art in treatment for non-art therapists. Participants will learn the differences between the use of art in treatment and art therapy and gain a basic knowledge of art therapy principles. Examples of interventions and art experientials will be provided.
