ITA Welcomes New Administrative Interns and Music Therapy Intern!
Interns are invaluable members of ITA’s team. Through ITA’s clinical internship, creative arts therapy students gain experience in the field, collaborate with professionals and can fulfill certification requirements. ITA also provides opportunities for college students to learn more about the creative arts therapies, non-profits and the working world through ITA’s administrative internship. Without further ado, allow us to introduce the four new interns!
Courtney Kehrmann
Courtney Kehrmann is an Administrative Intern at ITA. She is senior at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL. She is currently finishing up a double major in Art and Psychology. Her favorite medium to work in is ceramics; however, she also really enjoys sculpture and darkroom photography. She is very excited to learn about the different creative art therapies at ITA!
Troy Cruz
Troy Cruz is an Administrative Intern at ITA. He is junior at Lake Forest College majoring in Music and Psychology. He has been playing classical piano since he was a kid, and is taking organ lessons in college. He is excited to intern at ITA and is interested in learning more about each modality of creative arts therapy.
Bradley Drozdowski
Bradley Drozdowski is a Music Therapy Intern at ITA. He is from Canton, Michigan near Eastern Michigan University where he studied music therapy, voice, piano, and composition at the undergraduate level. His personal interests include reading and writing, making herbal teas from scratch, and traveling. Bradley is excited to be joining the team at ITA!
Samantha Bandstra
Samantha Bandstra is a new Administrative Intern at ITA, and she is thrilled to be a part of ITA’s unique, creative environment. She is a social work major and an art nerd from Dordt College in Iowa – but she doesn’t eat corn every day as you might assume. She loves dill pickles and once ate 100 of them in a pickle eating contest!
