Neurologic Music Therapist – Fellow
Jeff is the Director of Community Programs and Financial Operations and a music therapist at the Institute for Therapy through the Arts. He is a founding member, administrator, and previous director of Kids Town Child Development Center in Brunswick, Ohio. Mr. Wolfe received his Bachelor of Arts in Percussion from the University of Akron in 2005 and completed his Masters of Music in Music Therapy with an emphasis in counseling at Ohio University. He completed his clinical internship at Creating Connections Company, LLC, a private practice specializing in interventions for children and adults with Neurodevelopmental Disorders. He holds the Neurologic Music Therapy-Fellow (NMT-F) certification from the Center for Biomedical Research in Music, at Colorado State University. In addition to his clinical work, he is a local, regional, and national lecturer, and an author. Jeff is Chair of the Student Affairs Advisory Board for the American Music Therapy Association, a co-chair of the Great Lakes Region of the American Music Therapy Association Mentoring Program, and is an active member of the Illinois Association of Music Therapy, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and the International Cultic Studies Association.
