Jenny is a recent graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a master’s in Art Therapy & Counseling. She has experience working with children and adolescents in school settings, as well as with the population related to domestic violence. Jenny’s goals for her clients are rooted in empowering, building connection, and self-expression.
Jenny believes that art therapy brings supposition to reality, enabling the clients to look at the situation or their thoughts objectively. Some of the time this process also helps separate the painful experience from the clients themselves, which is beneficial for trauma treatment.
During her career, Jenny has worked as a therapist at Adoption Support & Preservation program of Catholic Charities with adoptive and foster family, in addition, an art therapy intern at both Between Friends and the Nautilus School.
Jenny is not currently accepting new clients.
