Jessica Gardner

Development Director

Jessica received her BA in Psychology from Lake Forest College and has earned certificates in nonprofit marketing and communications from Northwestern University, fund development from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and volunteer management from HandsOn Suburban Chicago. She is also certified in Mental Health First Aid and is a volunteer Family-to-Family teacher for NAMI Cook County North Suburban. Jessica is a member of the Association for Fundraising Professionals.

Before joining ITA, Jessica worked in development for JourneyCare, Bernie’s Book Bank, and Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. She has also served on the Lake Forest College Alumni Board, the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the boards of directors of her homeowners’ associations.

In her free time, Jessica writes, enjoys kayaking, and is still attempting to perfect her late Nana’s fruitcake.
