Katelyn is board-certified music therapist working in the Chicago Public Schools. She has experience working in school-based settings in special education at a therapeutic day school, working with students ages 5-22. Katelyn’s therapy approaches are primarily humanistic and client-centered, and she believes in coming from a passionate, collaborative, client-led standpoint that meets her clients where they’re at. Katelyn strives to bring positivity, empathy, authenticity, and of course fun and humor to her therapy sessions!
Outside of work, Katelyn enjoys spending time with friends and family, going for walks, playing on her shuffleboard league, and watching reality TV while eating ice cream. Fun fact: she is also on a mission to find the best ranch dressing in Chicago!
