Dr. Marni Rosen received both her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Art Therapy and her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. Dr. Marni Rosen completed her Post-doctorate Fellowship at the Traumatic Stress Center in New Haven, CT. She is the Programs Co-chair for the Illinois Art Therapy Association and a member of the North American Society for Adlerian Psychology and American Art Therapy Association. Until recently, Dr. Rosen worked as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Art Therapist at Rosalind Franklin University Health System in Vernon Hills, IL. She has also recently worked as a Group Psychotherapy Consultant at Forest Edge Rehabilitation Center, Ambassador Nursing Facility, and Winston Manor Rehabilitation Center. Her clinical approach includes Art Therapy, Trauma Centered Psychotherapy, and Adlerian Psychotherapy. Dr. Rosen has contributed to the research of Art Therapy, including a recent article in the Journal of Individual Psychology, Adlerian Art Therapy with Survivors of Sexual Assault (2013).
