Molly is an art therapist from Chicago, working with neurodiverse students in the Chicago Public Schools. She has experience working with children and adolescents in therapeutic day schools, older adults with dementia, and folks processing grief. Molly received her master’s degree in art therapy and counseling at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her BA from Oberlin College in Psychology and Studio Art. Using an eclectic approach, grounded in Relational Cultural Theory, Molly encourages collaborative techniques to connect with clients, increase self-esteem, and provide a safe space.
Her personal art practice is based in fiber arts, printmaking, and bookmaking. She utilizes this knowledge of materials to assist clients in their artistic and emotional exploration.
