Nina is a music therapy intern currently working with a diverse clientele across the Chicagoland area including within schools, community partners, and private clients of various ages/backgrounds. Nina’s internship at ITA will complete her undergraduate degree requirements for Nazareth University in Rochester, NY, where she will receive her B.M. in music therapy. Throughout her clinical training, she has gained experience working with neurodiverse early intervention and Pre-K children, stroke survivors, and adults and older adults with Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease/dementia, as well as within hospice settings. She has strong interests in interfaith dialogue, spirituality/spiritual care, and restorative justice within and outside of her music therapy work. During her college experience, she was an active E-Board member as historian, president-elect, and president in the Mid-Atlantic Region Music Therapy Association and has presented on Interfaith Dialogue within music therapy practice at student conferences.
