Payton Cole (she/her), a Michigan native, recently completed her coursework in music therapy and horn performance at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. Throughout her time at Baldwin Wallace Payton enjoyed working with individuals in a variety of settings, so she is incredibly excited to work with a multitude of individuals through ITA and learn from the unique experiences of ITA’s clients and creative arts therapists. After completing her internship at ITA, Payton intends on taking the music therapy board certification exam in order to professionally practice music therapy. Payton wholeheartedly believes in the life-enriching power of music and the arts, and she looks forward to serving and uplifting her communities as an MT-BC in the near future. In her spare time, Payton enjoys playing her french horn, crocheting, attending theatrical performances, and spending time near the water.
