Sam White is the Programs Associate in addition to being a board-certified music therapist for ITA. Sam is a road warrior who has provided individual and group music therapy services throughout the Chicagoland area. She specializes in relational psychotherapeutic approaches that meet individuals in the here-and-now, in addition to utilizing a product/process-as-therapy lens through community-based performing arts. In her work, Sam also integrates goals surrounding self-advocacy, identity, and autonomy through strengths-based approaches. She is a classically trained vocalist, which she uses as her primary medium within music therapy. She also utilizes piano, guitar, and percussion as therapeutic tools to support individual/group needs. She would be honored to be a part of your therapeutic journey.
