Eddie is a music therapy intern working in a variety of settings at ITA. Eddie is currently finishing his bachelor’s of music therapy from St. Mary of the Woods College. Prior to becoming a music therapist, Eddie was a touring musician based in Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in popular music, with an emphasis on bass guitar performance. It was impactful for Eddie to discover the field of music therapy as he was looking to recontextualize his love of music to better suit his desire to work closely with others. He brings a deep musical knowledge, and a playful and easygoing personality to music therapy sessions. He enjoys working with people of all ages and believes that everyone should have access to meaningful musical experiences. Eddie is especially interested in the crossover between music and neuroscience; some of his favorite books on this topic are Of Sound Mind by Nina Kraus, Musicophilia by Oliver Sacks, and This Is Your Brain On Music by Daniel Levitan.Pronouns: He/Him
