Institute for Therapy through the Arts

Create. Grow. Heal.

Jazmin Royg, MA, BC-DMT

Jazmin is a Board-Certified Dance/Movement Therapist with a passion for helping individuals explore their inner world through creative expression. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kansas State University and her Master of Arts in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Drexel University. With a diverse background in both inpatient and outpatient mental health programs, Jazmin has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with varying needs.

Dance/movement therapy, an integral part of Jazmin’s approach, focuses on the powerful connection between mind and body. Through a blend of creativity, nonverbal expression, and verbal therapy, Jazmin’s goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can freely express themselves, move, and explore their emotions. Emphasizing emotional, social, cognitive, and physical integration, Jazmin strives to guide her clients towards growth and self-understanding.

During sessions, Jazmin encourages clients to engage in the creative process using dance, movement, sound, play, metaphors, music, and imagination – all at their own pace and comfort level. This approach fosters therapeutic progress, helping clients discover new perspectives and coping mechanisms on their journey towards healing and personal development.

Jazmin is currently accepting new clients.
