Jessie Sun is an art therapy intern who originally was born and raised in China. She is working toward receiving her Master’s in Art Therapy and Counseling from Adler University in Chicago. Jessie also holds a Bachelor degree of Arts in English and International Business. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and elder people with diverse cultural background.
Jessie incorporates a strengths-based art therapy approach and draws from multiple therapeutic frameworks including Adlerian theory, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and narrative therapy to support clients on their journey to therapeutic healing. She is dedicated to empowering personal growth in her clients through tailored and creative therapeutic methods. In her spare time, Jessie enjoys creating art, swimming, gardening, and traveling.
