Life is…
On July 16th, Big Shoulders Theatre Troupe presented Life Is …, a benefit concert for ITA. Popular musical theater selections were performed by Big Shoulders ensemble members, including such songs as “Some Enchanted Evening” from South Pacific, “Schroeder” from You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, “Model Behavior” from Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, and “One Day More” from Les Misérables.
In total, the benefit raised more than $2500.00 to support ITA’s efforts in providing creative arts therapy throughout the Chicago and North Shore communities, while also showcasing the extraordinarily talented members of Big Shoulders. ITA is grateful to everyone who attended and sponsored the event, and deeply appreciative to all of the volunteers, board members, donors and cast and crew of Big Shoulders for their hard work, generosity and support. Thanks again for the spectacular night!
