Dan Gallas is a senior financial leader, a CM&AA-Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor with over 25 years of experience serving as CFO/VP of Finance and Corporate Controller in the Professional Services, Architecture, Engineering and Construction industries. He has served as VP of Finance at JWI, a WBE/MBE (Woman Business Enterprise and Minority Business Enterprise), a Construction Mgmt., Project Mgmt. and Owners representation firm and at Wachs Water Services in Buffalo Grove; as Regional Controller at Brock Industrial Services in Joliet as well as STARCON International; CFO of FMHC Telecom and as CFO/Turnaround Specialist for Keystone Mechanical and the Callahan Companies.
He has overseen corporate turnarounds, providing legal and financial expertise for joint venture contracts, financial and managerial reporting while also focused on providing accurate and efficient accounting and finance practices in concert with process improvement strategies to every position.
Dan has a B.S. in Business Administration/Accounting from Roosevelt University, and an M.B.A. in Corporate Leadership from Argosy University.
Prior Board of Directors experience includes serving as Treasurer of the Prairie Crossing Charter School in Grayslake, IL and more recently as Advisory Board Member for Enterprise Fleet Management Vehicle services in the Chicagoland market.
Dan lives in Evanston with wife Lisa Gallas and two pugs, Daisy and Ziggy. He has three grown children MacKenzie (26), Savannah (23) and Griffin (20) all whom attended E.T.H.S., with Savannah holding the Office of President for Best Buddies for the E.T.H.S. Chapter during her High School career.
Dan enjoys Cubs baseball, bicycling, travel, muscle cars, music and movies.
