ITA Welcomes 4 New Administrative Interns
This summer, we welcome four new administrative interns to the ITA team. They will be helping out around the office and learning about the creative arts therapies! We are excited to have them here!
Summer Brunson
Summer is from Skokie, Illinois. Come fall, she will be a junior at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, working towards a degree in Psychology and a minor in Art and Design. After graduating, she plans to further her education by earning a Master of Arts in Art Therapy. It is her goal to one day be able to apply her skills in either a hospital or studio setting. During her free time, Summer enjoys exploring the outdoors, making pottery and writing; she keep a journal and she tries to write in it at least once every day.
Rachel Cheng
Rachel is going to be a Senior at Knox College this upcoming September. She is in majoring Music and has a minor in Psychology. Her instrument of choice is the piano, though she has dabbled with other instruments during her time in high school and college. When she is not working with music, she likes to paint or enjoy a good fictional novel.
Alina Pulbere
Alina Pulbere is originally from Moldova and moved to the U.S when she was six years old. She speaks three languages: Russian, Romanian, and English. She is the oldest of three brothers and nannies for families as her job. She loves art and creating art, as well as photography. She is going to Southern Adventist University in Tennessee for the rest of her undergrad and is studying to do art therapy!
Becca Slotkin
Becca Slotkin is a rising junior at Vassar College studying Drama and Psychology. She has been involved with theatre since middle school in several capacities, including acting, stage managing, and writing/directing. Becca continues to perform while at Vassar, in plays, as a member of a sketch comedy troupe, and as a member of an a cappella group. While she is still exploring career possibilities, she is excited to learn more about drama and music therapy!
ITA is also now accepting applications for Fall 2016 internship positions! We offer programs for college students enrolled in accredited creative arts therapy degree programs and for students who are majoring in other fields. To learn more, click here.
