Jeff is a board-certified and licensed professional music therapist and Neurologic Music Therapy Fellow with over a decade of experience designing and expanding creative arts therapy programs. His holistic, neuroscience-based approach empowers individuals to lead their care through creativity, relationship-building, and informed decision-making.
He specializes in supporting clients with aphasia, dementia, neurodivergence, and cult recovery, and has worked extensively with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional growth, and physical rehabilitation.
In addition to his role at ITA, Jeff is a university lecturer, published author, and regional speaker. He serves on Evanston’s mental health task force and has held leadership roles within the American Music Therapy Association.
Education and Affiliations: Master of Music in Music Therapy with an emphasis in Counseling from Ohio University, Bachelor of Arts in Percussion Performance from University of Akron, Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) Certification from the Center for Biomedical Research in Music at Colorado State University. Executive Leadership training from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management
