A New Chapter of Leadership at ITA

The Institute for Therapy through the Arts (ITA) announces an important leadership transition. After three years as CEO, Chrissy Dale will be stepping down on August 29, 2025, to become Executive Director at Laughlin Children’s Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

ITA is proud to welcome Jeffrey Wolfe as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2025. With 15 years of experience at ITA and a deep background in Creative Arts Therapy, Jeff brings visionary leadership, clinical expertise, and a strong commitment to inclusive care.

Naperville News 17 – Camp Hope

ITA and Edward Cancer Center brought the arts to Camp Hope! Camp Hope is a summer camp for children who have a family member diagnosed with cancer. The campers engaged in Dance/Movement, Art, and Music therapy during their week-long program. This video from Naperville News 17 shows Lauren Milburn, ITA Dance/Movement Therapist working with children of Camp Hope and provides a brief explanation of the work.
