
The Chicago Association for Psychoanalytic Psychology (CAPP) will be hosting a CAPP Conversation at the Institute for Therapy Through the Arts on Sept 20th at 8:30am titled “Metaphor and the Reconfiguration of Self in Psychodynamic and Arts Therapy.” The CAPP Conversation will provide the opportunity for two psychoanalytic clinicians to discuss their use of art in treatment with two creative arts therapists from ITA’s staff. Dr. Marni Rosen, Psy.D ATR and Keith Whipple, RDT will be on the panel discussing the use of Art Therapy and Drama Therapy as it relates to the various forms that a metaphor can be used in therapy.
